WinOLS5 is an advanced software application specifically designed for modifying the memory contents of ECUs. It simplifies the process of identifying and locating maps, which can be labeled, analyzed in various formats, and precisely adjusted. The software offers a range of powerful functions to efficiently edit maps, enabling optimal customization and performance.
All data and maps are stored in project files, which contain all information gathered during the processing of a specific ECU. Additional details, such as customer name, vehicle number, and image files, can also be included.
Map modifications can be saved as "versions" and annotated with comments. Up to 200 versions of a single original file can be stored. All modified projects are displayed in a list that can be filtered and sorted, making it easy to locate previously modified projects.

- Compatible with the latest hardware, including BDM 100, BSL100, and OLS300, as well as legacy hardware such as the OLS200 simulator module and the MP2440(P) EPROM programmer on Windows XP to Windows 7 (32-bit). Note: OLS200 and MP2440P are not supported on Windows 7 (64-bit).
- Megaprommer MP2240P and OLS16 are no longer supported.
- Import and export of binary files, Intel and Motorola HEX files. All file types can be compressed, encrypted, have swapped lines, or be sent directly via email.

Automatic comments: Comments can be added to every project and version. Additionally, comments are automatically generated when importing or creating new versions. - Online project search: The online database can automatically populate fields such as manufacturer and chassis. Some fields, like Bosch numbers, can even be filled offline.
