Alientech Upgrade 2.65.2 — New Bosch MD1 OBD-Protocols now live

We are excited to share that Alientech has just released Upgrade 2.65.2! Bringing new OBD-protocol support to the powerful KESS3. With this update, you can now access Bosch MD1 ECUs via OBD, even on many of the latest diesel engines from Ford.

What does this mean for you (or your workshop)?

• You can now read and write ECU data directly over OBD, using factory-style diagnostics (no bench mode required)
• These new protocols unlock updates for a broad range of Ford models, including the Ecosport, Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Puma, Transit models and many Super Duty / Ranger platforms.
• This update expands your tuning capabilities significantly — increasing efficiency, speed, and convenience when working on modern diesel engines.
