Alientech Upgrade 2.62 — Heavy-Duty Support for MAN Trucks Now Available

We are pleased to announce that Alientech has released Upgrade 2.62, expanding the KESS3 tuning tool capabilities to heavy-duty vehicles. With this update, you can now work in BOOT mode on the Continental PTM5 ECU installed in 12.4-litre engines of MAN TG-S and TGX series (from 2013 onwards). 

What does this mean for you (or your workshop)?

• You can now read and write ECU data directly in BOOT mode on MAN’s heavy-duty engines; giving you deep and reliable access to engine calibration. 
• This update opens tuning and calibration possibilities for a core lineup of MAN trucks, allowing precise control over engine logic, power delivery, and fuel efficiency. 
• For workshops working on heavy-duty applications: this means full access to modern MAN engines, increased flexibility in tuning offers, and the ability to provide high-quality remap services on commercial trucks.
